Aam Panna or Raw Green Mango Cooler | My Mom’s Recipe

Raw mango is one of the healthiest fruits you can try out in the beginning of summer. This green and tangy fruit help you deal with acne, indigestion, heatstroke. It is packed with vitamins too.

Raw Mango Or Kachha Aam

Beat the heat with this refreshing summer drink made of raw green mango pulp blended with cumin, jeera and mint leaves. Aam Panna summer cooler is a great remedy for heat stroke and dehydration.

Summer Drink

Raw mango – 2 medium size
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Mint leaves – 14
Cold water – 4 cups

Spices –
Roasted cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Black salt – 1 tsp
Soaked fennel seeds – 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp

Refreshing Mango Drink


  1. Chopped raw green mango into large chunks (with skin) and put into a deep saucepan along with sugar, all spices, and 1 & 1/2 cups of water.
  2. Boil the mangoes for 20 – 25 minutes on low flame till they become soft inside, and the skin gets discolored.
  3. Allow it cool down completely and remove the pulp from the skin with the help of a spoon.
  4. Now add the pulp with mint leaves, in a grinder and make a smooth paste.
  5. Add water (2 & 1/2 cups) and again grind it with grounded boiled raw mango paste.
  6. Raw mango summer drink is ready. Pour into glass with ice cubes.
  7. Garnish with mint leaves and serve chilled.

  1. Adjust spices according to your taste.
  2. Soak fennel in a 1/2 cup of water for 20 minutes.

Green Raw Mango Coriander Chutney | Green Chutney For Chaats

Green Chutney for chaat recipes – a quick chutney that can be added to many chaat snacks like tikki, sev puri, and samosas. This raw mango green chutney stays good in the fridge for 3-4 days.

Green Raw Mango Coriander Chutney

Green Raw Mango – 1 medium
Chopped Coriander leaves – 1 cup
Garlic – 4
Green chilies – 2
Chaat masala – 1 teaspoon
Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons
Roasted cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste

Method :

Grind all above ingredients with 1 tsp of water and grind it till smooth. Transfer chutney into a clean and dry glass jar.
Serve with your favorite snacks.

Green Chutney

Raw Green Mango Jaggery Chutney

Tangy Sweet Chutney made with green mango and jaggery. This recipe is very easy and ready within 20 minutes. Jaggery also is known as Gur. The benefits of jaggery include its ability to cleanse your body, sweeten your food in a healthy manner, and provide good amounts of minerals.

Few Spices & Raw Green Mango

Raw Green Mango Jaggery Chutney

Ingredients :
Raw Green Mango – 4
( It yields 1 & 1/2 cups Puree)
Jaggery or Gur – 3/4 cup

Salt to taste
Black salt – 1/4 tsp
Roasted cumin seeds powder – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Roasted fennel seeds powder – 1/2 tsp

Dry fruits:
Cashews, Raisins, Walnuts – 1/2 cup

Healthy Chutney

Method :

  1. For Green Mango Puree – Peel the mango and cut into cubes. Put mango cubes into a grinder with 1/2 cup of water and make a smooth purée.
  2. Put mango puree and jaggery in a deep non-stick deep pan.
  3. Cook for 5- 6 minutes on medium-low flame. Until all jaggery dissolves.
  4. Now add all spices and dry fruits and cook until chutney thickens.
  5. Serve hot with parathas.

Tip :
Don’t overcook chutney otherwise, it will become thicker after cooling.
