This creamy avocado banana smoothie is one of the best ideas for a busy morning. Just need four ingredients and within five minutes creamy smoothie is ready. It has a very unique creaminess that comes from the avocado without that strong avocado flavor. It is full of nutrients and is so so filling.

Creamy Avocado Banana Smoothie

I love avocados so much I will eat them with anything – saladchutney or any smoothiesandwich. Avocados provide a uniquely silky texture to smoothies without an overbearing taste. They are like a magic ingredient that will completely transform your smoothie game.

Greek yogurt is one of my favorite healthy ingredients. Adding Greek yogurt to smoothies, or substituting it in the place of milk, ice cream and even regular yogurt creates a rich and creamy consistency that satisfies without the extra sugar, saturated fat, and additives.

The bananas add a ton of flavor, it’s a great fruit to include in your diet. They contain a ton of nutrients such as vitamin B, vitamin C, magnesium, and much more. I used a frozen banana in this smoothie. Adding frozen bananas to smoothies rather than room temperature bananas makes them richer and creamier.

Yogurt Based Smoothie

Putting nuts in smoothies is a delicious way to add fiber, protein, and healthy fats. A handful of pistachios contains much of the daily recommended vitamins and nutrients, like vitamin E, and those energy-rich B vitamins. 

Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:
Frozen banana (the riper the sweeter) – 2
Avocado – 2
Greek Yogurt – 1 cup
Chopped pistachios – 2 tbsp

Four Ingredients Smoothie

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients and blend until smooth.

Consuming the daily recommendations of fruits and vegetables can be a challenge. Blending a fruit or vegetables into a smoothie helps ensure you meet your body’s daily nutritional needs. Smoothies are delicious and super easy to make. Smoothies are one of my favorite things ever. Weekdays mornings are always a rush. SMOOTHIES are the lifesavers – Just throw fruits or veggies of your choice, milk or yogurt, blend and its ready within a minute.

Fruit Smoothie

This delicious smoothie is packed with nutrition and flavor, you’ll love this cinnamon and apple combo. The banana adds additional fiber, as well as potassium, manganese, and vitamin B6. Oats is the main ingredient in this smoothie not just for creaminess but a great nutrition source as well.

Smoothie With Oats

Oats are loaded with dietary fiber and have a range of healthy cholesterol-lowering properties. This smoothie is light and refreshing with just enough sweetness from the apple to make it enjoyable.

Cinnamon Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients:
Apple – 1 (Peeled and cubed)
Banana – 1
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp
Oats – 1/2 cup
Water – 3/4 cup
Skimmed milk – 1/2 cup
Chopped walnuts – 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Heat a 3/4 cup of water in a nonstick saucepan and add oats. Cook oats for 6 minutes on medium low flame stirring continuously.
  2. When oats are cooked switch off the flame. Let it cool down completely before grinding.
  3. Now blend cooked oats, banana, apple with milk together in a mixer till smooth.
  4. Pour smoothie into a glass, garnish with cinnamon powder and chopped walnuts.

  • You could even make oats in advance and use accordingly.

Blending a glass of smoothie made up with your favorite fruits, vegetables, and superfoods, you would easily be able to get your daily need for nutrients. Blending produce into a smoothie preserves fiber—and a smoothie can deliver an extra boost of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals because it often includes fruit skins and pith. If your smoothie includes yogurt or milk, you get some calcium too. In this smoothie recipe, I used fresh pomegranate juice instead of milk and curd.

Easy to make & healthy

Smoothies are easy to make, especially when it’s packed with pomegranate and strawberries that are particularly high in nutrients and antioxidants. Pomegranates are a good source of vitamins A, C, some B vitamins and minerals such as calcium, potassium, and iron. Whereas, Strawberry is a highly nutritious fruit, loaded with vitamin C and powerful antioxidants. It has a pleasant aroma, a vibrant color, a juicy texture, and a sweet yet mildly sour taste.

A creamy delicious and healthy bowl of Mango Oats Smoothie is a perfect way to start your day. Smoothie bowls are very easy to make, just throw all the ingredients in blender and blend – It’s Ready Besides their sweet, delicious taste mangoes also have many advantages and health benefits. Mangoes are a very good source of fiber. Mangoes also contain many minerals in them; most notably potassium and magnesium. These minerals are necessary for muscles’ growth, contraction of muscles, relaxation of muscles and producing proteins in your body.

Mango Oats Smoothie

Ingredients:
Mangoes – 1 (Peeled and cubed)
Oats – 1/2 cup
Cold Milk – 1/2 cup
Water – 3/4 cup
Fresh fruits – 1/2 cup ( Mango cubes. sliced cherries) Any fruits of your choice
Sliced Pistachios – 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Heat a 3/4 cup of water in a nonstick saucepan and add oats. Cook oats for 6 minutes on medium low flame stirring continuously.
  2. When oats are cooked switch off the flame. Let it cool down completely before grinding.
  3. Soaked 10 pistachios (without shells) in a 1/2 cup of water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes drain the water and slice them. Keep them aside.
  4. Now blend cooked oats, mangoes with cold milk together in a mixer till smooth.
  5. Pour into a big bowl, garnish with chopped mangoes, cherries and sliced pistachios.

  • You can substitute mangoes with any seasonal fruit.
  • By soaking, pistachios will slice easily.

This Kiwi Cucumber Smoothie recipe is packed full of healthy fruit and veggies that will help you start the morning off with a good dose of vitamins and minerals.

A good way to start the day is to start the morning off with a green smoothie recipe. The kiwi is a rich source of vitamin C, to make the collagen that keeps skin firm and plump and the apple is bursting with dietary fibre and antioxidants that fight the signs of premature ageing.

Ingredients:

Chopped cucumber – 1
Green apple – 1 (chopped with skin)
Chopped kiwi – 1 (without skin)
A pinch of salt

This green smoothie is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber. So, if you haven’t tried adding spinach to your smoothie yet, this smoothie is the answer. Combined with other ingredients you will get a vitamin bomb full of antioxidants and other nutrients good for your body.

Energizing Green Smoothie

I loved the combo of this kiwi, cucumber, and spinach. It was sweet and fresh, but not too sweet. It is best to stick mostly to vegetables when making green juice and only use fruits to accent the flavors or add a hint of natural sweetness.

The more fruits you add to your green smoothie, the more sugar will be in your serving of green juice. In this delicious smoothie, I try to balance vegetables with a small amount of fruit to make it easily drinkable but also not too loaded in sugar. To add sweetness to the smoothie I added grapes and kiwi.

No Dairy Smoothie

Grapes aren’t often blended in a smoothie. Grapes are 80% water, which makes them blend easily and add extra hydration to your smoothie. Cucumbers are so nourishing, and they’re totally in season at this time of year. They’ve got a range of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, and their phytonutrients are linked to anti-cancer benefits. Blended with spinach, mint, and fruits makes this smoothie perfect for summer.

Healthy Beverage

Smoothies are a great way to pack fiber and vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables, protein, and good fats into a drinkable meal or snack. They normally contain less sugar than the fruity smoothies, which makes them a healthier choice but, of course, it all depends on the ingredients. You need to make sure you are not consuming large amounts of sugar by adding too many fruits in one drink.

Although this is natural fructose, if you consume very sweet, fruity smoothies daily you might be adding too much sugar to your diet. This is why it’s a good idea to always combine fruits and veggies when you choose your smoothie ingredients.

But, if you’re looking to boost your nutrition with a mega-dose of whole food vitamins and minerals without added sugar, fiber, calories, or protein, then this a green smoothie would be ideal or “healthier” for sure. Do try it.

Ingredients:

Spinach – 150 gms
Chopped cucumber – 1 small size
Chopped kiwi (with skin) – 1
Grapes – 1/2 cup (I used both green and red grapes)
Water – 1 cup
Juice of one lemon
Handful of mint leaves

Method:

  1. Put all above ingredients with half cup of water.
  2. Blend everything until smooth.
  3. Then add remaining 1/2 cup of water and blend it again.
  4. Use a mesh strainer to strain smoothie into a container.
  5. Pour smoothie into a glass. Garnish with spicy cucumber slice (little red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder with little salt) and grapes.
  6. Enjoy delicious and quick smoothie.

Sunshine Smoothie | Yellow Kiwi Mango Smoothie | No Milk No Sugar Smoothie

Ready in 5 minutes, this sunshine yellow kiwi mango smoothie is super creamy, filling, and high in vitamin C. Healthy and delicious, it’s the perfect way to start your day.

Sunshine Smoothie

When the last of late winter and spring colds going around, smoothies are perfect for getting a large dose of vitamin C, potassium, and other immune-boosting nutrients. I love using fresh fruit in my smoothies, especially as we enter spring. You still have the last of the winter citrus and kiwis in the markets, but also start seeing some of the warm weather flavors.

For this smoothie, it is best to use well-ripened kiwis. Unripe kiwi is very tart and will affect the smoothie. To determine if your kiwi is ripe you can give it a gentle squeeze and if it gives slightly then it is ready. You shouldn’t have to squeeze it hard, just a little bit. Really soft kiwi is overripe and can taste a little fermented. It is still usable for things like smoothies, but the flavor isn’t perfect.

Yellow Kiwi Mango Smoothie

In this smoothie I used yellow kiwi. Gold kiwifruit, in contrast, has smooth, hairless skin that’s a nice golden-brown color. Slicing the fruit in half reveals even more differences. Green kiwifruit has, as one would expect, a green flesh with black seeds. The flesh of our golden kiwifruit is a vibrant yellow color with a smaller core and fewer seeds.

No Milk No Sugar Smoothie

Ingredients:

Yellow kiwi – 3
Fresh one mango
Mix Crushed nuts of your choice

Summer Smoothie

  1. In a blender add yellow kiwi and mango.
  2. Blend everything until smooth. Sprinkle crushed nuts .

Bright Sunshine Smoothie

Banana Blueberry Smoothie | Blueberry Yogurt Smoothie

Banana blueberry smoothie packs a punch of energy and it’s so refreshing with full of antioxidants. You just need few ingredients for this amazing creamy smoothie – a banana, fresh blueberries, milk, yogurt, and a perfect smoothie is ready. The cool bluish purple color of blueberries are an excellent source of vitamin C, which helps protect cells against damage and aids in the absorption of iron.

Whereas, bananas are also a good source of B vitamins, which play a role in cell metabolism. Banana is a great base flavor for any smoothie and will give you a lovely creamy texture.

Fruit Smoothie

Seeds are super high in essential fatty acids, including omega-3, and high in anti-oxidants. They blend easily into your smoothies, without changing the flavor or texture too much. While there are many seeds you could add to your smoothie, but these four are my favorite – flax seeds, sesame seeds, roasted pumpkin seeds, roasted melon seeds. I always buy them in a bulk and then slightly roast flax and sesame seeds. Then mix them together in a jar (1/2 cup each seed). Just add 1 tbsp of mix seeds in your smoothie or sprinkle on salad.

Ingredients:

Banana- 1 Big
Fresh blueberries – 1 cup
Yogurt – 1/2 cup
Milk – 1 cup
Mix seeds (Sunflower, flax seeds, melon and sesame seeds each 1 tbsp) – 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. In a blender add chopped banana, blueberries, yogurt, and milk.
  2. Blend everything until smooth. Pour into a glass and sprinkle mix seeds on top.
  3. Enjoy delicious and quick smoothie.
